A four-year-old boy has died after being hit by a car in South Kempsey late yesterday.
Police believe the boy ran into the path of oncoming traffic on Middleton Street, where he was struck by a Nissan Pathfinder.
“He was taken to Kempsey Hospital by family members, they saw the extent of his injuries and put him in the car and rushed him straight there.”
He later died in hospital.
