A man has been charged after an armed robbery in the Northern Rivers last month.
At about 6pm on July 15, a man entered a service station on Ballina Road in Lismore, allegedly armed with a screwdriver.
Police say he threatened the attendant with the weapon and demanded cash, before fleeing with a sum of money and cigarettes.
Just after 10am today, a 19-year-old man was brought by Correctional Services to Lismore Police station and charged with armed robbery.
He will appear at Lismore Local Court later this month.
